Welcome!

This website was created to provide one-stop-shopping for educational resources related to alternative energies.

The site offers downloadable lesson plans and activities that all available elsewhere online, but all in one location here. Some of the activities have extension activities that have been created to be used with GIS mapping data. That mapping data is also available through this site.

An interactive list of links is also offered here. This is a list of websites that may be of interest to educators. The list is annotated and users will have the ability to post reviews of the site or resources available from the site.

The website also houses a Wind Energy Webquest and information on the Lending Library of activity kits available through the Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability at JMU.
